SchoolSmartKC mission on a laptop screen

Our youth are the future of Kansas City. They will become our next leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and strategists, and are key to a strong civic and economic future for all of us. Since our inception, SchoolSmartKC has been committed to elevating work that supports our students in areas where there are critical needs. SchoolSmartKC was established with the mission to eliminate the achievement gap by ensuring at least 65% of Kansas City Public Education System (KCPES) students achieve within 10% of the overall student achievement rates in the state of Missouri. For the last seven years and with the generous support of our Funders, we have been honored to work alongside a passionate community of individuals who share the same commitment to making a positive difference for our students. The results of these partnerships show a powerful impact. As we continue to invest in the future, we look forward to amplifying what works, collaborating and convening with our community as partners, and building a system that ensures access to highquality public education for all. A strong Kansas City requires strong Kansas City schools.
