Jerry L. Williams is a recently retired executive from T-Mobile.  At T-Mobile/Sprint he performed several roles over his 30+ years including directorships in Customer Value Creation, Solutions Engineering, Finance (Collections) and Customer Care/Support Operations.  He was also the Executive Sponsor of Employee Resource Groups for many years and served as Chair of T-Mobile’s Multicultural Alliance (20K+ employees).

Jerry has lived in several cities during his tenure at T-Mobile/Sprint and has always managed to engage with his community with a particular focus on improving experiences for kids.  Currently he serves as a City Councilmember for the City of Fairway in KS, as well as Board Chair for the Ewing Marion Kauffman School in KCMO.  Additional non-profit board participation includes Swope Health, The Menorah Heritage Foundation, The Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey, and the United Methodist Health Fund.

Community involvement has always included Christian discipleship for Jerry, from his early days growing up in Houston to present where he worships and works diligently at Old Mission United Methodist Church in Fairway.  He currently serves as Lead for the Security Ministry at Old Mission.

Jerry lives in Fairway, KS, with his wife (Debbie) and son (Jordan).  His oldest son (Jeremy) currently resides in Atlanta.  He is a native Californian and spent most of his younger years in Houston TX.  He attended and graduated from Texas Southern University (B.S. Chem), Rice University (B.S. Chemical Engineering), and The University of Texas at Austin (M.B.A.). Jerry relocated to Kansas in 2012 with Sprint, the last of several relocations including Dallas, Denver, San Francisco and Atlanta.  Beware, Jerry is an avid Texas Longhorns sports fan.
