State and Solutions of Black Education Summit 2022

SchoolSmartKC was proud to sponsor the State and Solutions of Black Education Summit, which took place this month. This incredible event brought together parents, educators, and students to build initiatives, action steps, and accountability measures within education in Kansas City. This event was facilitated by Brothers Liberating Our Communities, Teachers Like Me, and Parent Power Lab. Fox 4 met with Trinity Davis from Teachers Like Me to talk more about what this event means for black education in Kansas City.
